The line chart provides the number of visitors from France and North America to British for 2 different purposes during the whole year.
Overall, it is clear that the number of travellers from two countries experienced a downward trend for both sectors. Moreover, despite a decline, there were more visitors come from North America than France.
According to the holiday purpose, nearly one million of North America travellers come to UK in January, and this firgue continued to rise and reach a peak of 3 millions in July. However, the next 5-month period witnessed a significant decline, accounting for only 0,7 millions of visitors at the end. The trend was the same when it came to France travellers. The figure for France also surged by 0,5 millions after experiencing a remarkable increase during the first-half period.
It was totally different in business purpose. From around 0,15 millions and 0,05 millions respectively in January, figures for these two regions saw a slight fluctuation across the whole year, with the peak of roughly 0,35 millions and 0,2 millions each in October. At the end, with around 0,25 millions of people, the figure for North America was higher compared to France, at only 0,1 millions
