The graph compares the average prices of both the navigation system and smartphone starting from July 2004 to December 2006. It is clear that although at first the price of navigation systems is more than the smartphones as the years went by the average prices became almost identical.

In the span of July-December 2004, both the gadgets were having a peak in their average prices(3900 versus 3100 US dollars). In the following months(January-June 2005), the prices dropped lower for both navigation systems and smartphones to 3200 and 2800 US Dollars respectively. Furthermore, the navigation system goes even more down to 3100 USD whereas, the smartphones had shown some rise to its average price by 100 USD.

Moreover, in the first half of 2006, the graph had recorded growth in the average prices of the navigation system to 3400 USD. However, the next half had shown a drastic decline in the navigation systems to its lowest average price(2700 USD). whereas, in the case of smartphones, the average price remained constant for the whole year(2006) with the rate of 2800 USD-was the lowest average price for smartphones as well.
