What stands out from the graph is that English is expected to be the most popular language during the whole span of time although the other 2 languages will show gradual upward trends in the number of learners.

Turning to the details, the number of students learning English will start at approximately 550millions in 2020, and then it will moderately rise to exactly 700millions in 2024. Despite falling slightly to around 630millions in 2026, the quantity of English learners is forecasted to increase noticeably, finishing at roughly 750millions in 2030. As regards the number of people who are interested in studying Spanish, it begins at just over 200millons which will be followed by an exponential rise, reaching almost 500millions at the end of the period.

If we look at the result of mandarin language learners, the figure will start at nearly 100millions in 2020, which is expected to be the least famous language of the 3, it then increases dramatically year by year. Having overtaken the number of Spanish language students at about 340millions in 2025, the rate skyrockets to over 550millions until the end of the given period.
