The graphs below give information about computer ownership as a percentage of the population between 2002 and 2010, and by level of education for the years 2002 and 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The bar charts illustrate the percentage of computer owners over an eight-year period, from 2002 to 2010, and the proportion of computer owners according to the different education levels for the year 2002 and 2010.

Overall, it is apparent that the percentage of computer owners rose over the period given. Moreover, the highest ownership was found in the postgraduate qualifiers. However, the least proportion accounted for the no high school diplomas.

From the first bar graph, it can be seen that there was a gradual increase in the percentage of computer ownership from 2002 to 2010. It stood at about 57% in 2002, increasing steadily and reached approximately 77%.

With regards to different education levels, in the second bar chart, the students who have post graduation qualifications owned the highest percentage of computers, which was higher than the other education levels. In 2002, it was 80% and reached about 95% in 2010. A similar pattern also found in the high school graduates, the college students, and the bachelor’s students, the percentage rose by about 30%, 25%, and 20% between 2002 and 2010 respectively. One noticeable point is that the students with no high diploma owned the lowest percentage of computers over the represented timeframe.
