The given line graphs count the populations of both international and in-state students in universities of Australia from 2001 to 2010. The red line represents the total number of learners at the universities whereas the number of incoming students is marked by the blue one.
In case of overseas graduates, their community has been expanding in a steady pace since 2001. While there were only 20000 foreign students in 2001, the number reached beyond 80000 in 2010. Moreover, in 2001, less than 20000 new students came from outside of Australia, but in 2010 that number settled in 40000.
The opposite scenario is seen for the domestic students. Although, the sum total of native scholars appeared to be increasing since 2001, from 40000 to over 60000 in 2010, there was visible decline in the quantity of new recruits. Less than 20000 undergraduates from Australia were admitted in 2001 and in 2004-2006. However, for some reason, that number either reached or peaked beyond 20000 in 2002 and in 2003, and again in 2007 to 2010.
