The graphs give information about the rate of women and men aged 60-64 who are engaged in four homelands from 1970 to 2000.
Overall, the percentage of men employed in USA is highest among 4 countries in 1970 but this rate is decline in 2000. However, the completely different we can see if we look at the specific figures.
Look at the first bar chart in 1970, it can be seen that the percentage of men and women employed in Japan is lowest among four countries and have number is 76% with men and 56% with women. However, the rate of men and women employed in USA is highest and have number is 86% and 78%. The second after USA is Indonesia with number is 84% and 65%. By contrast, after Indonesia is Belgium have figure number 79% and 63%.
Look at the second bar chart in 2000. The rate of women and man in Belgium is lowest among 4 countries and especially the rate of women in this year is significantly down and only have 8% and men is 52%. By contrast, the rate of women in remaining 3 countries only about 2 to 3 percent apart. In USA have number is 45%, Japan and Indonesia is 47% and 50%. Although, the rate of men is stable and have highest number is 78% in USA. The second after USA is 74% in Indonesia. Finally, in Japan only have number is 63%. So, it can be seen that the rate of women and men in USA and Indonesia is stable and higher than remaining 3 countries.
