IELTS 10 Test 1 Writing Task 1 - Academic

The first pie chart explains about the energy consumption in an average Australian household. Other pie chart gives the results about gas emissions of the households which are contributed by energy use in other pie chart.
First of all, Heating has highest average percentage of household energy use than others. Comparing heating, water heating is 12 % less. Following water heating, other appliances has more percentage of energy use in households.it holds 15 % of average energy use. In addition that, refrigeration, lighting and cooling almost less than 10% .The refrigeration holds 7% and lighting has 2 percentage more than cooling. Cooling has lowest percentage of 2 % in average energy use.

In second pie chart, Water heating has highest percentage of greenhouse gas emission than all others. Other appliances has 45 percentage less than water heating .Following other appliances, Heating and refrigeration has almost same percentage of greenhouse gas emission of 15 and 14 percentage. Cooling and lighting has less than 10%. Lighting holds 8% percentage of total pie chart. Cooling has lowest in greenhouse gas emissions same as in energy use.
To conclude, water heating has most percentage in both energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.
