The map illustrates the expansion of Meadowside village and Foton town over three different time periods (1962, 1985 and the present).

Overall, the village transferred into the suburb and it is merged with Foton town. Additionally, there was a significant alteration experienced in the infrastructure, residential area and services sector in the town and village over the course of time.

In 1962, Medwood village was situated in the west, in which a small road crosses from the west to north. A railway track goes through Foton, which is located in the east.

The area of both Meadowside village and Foton increased significantly. There was a substantial development in Meadowside village, where housing sector in the west, a complex for leisure activities in the north and a superstore in the south were constructed, while no construction took place in Foton. The small road was enlarged to the main road and an addition road was constructed to from Meadowside to Foton in the east.

Meadowside is a suburb at present and is merged with Foton town. There are few facilities constructed in between Meadowside village and Foton town. For example, a railway station is seen in the centre beside that in the north is the hospital and opposite to the station is a student's park in the south. There is no change in the main road but a railway track is lied down from east to the station.
