The diagram shows how the coffee is manufactured sometimes. Here, the method used for coffee production is dry method.
Overall, coffee production is a man-made and linear process that starts with arranging the beans in order and ends with how the beans are packed and sold. There are twelve main stages to this process.
To begin with, firstly, the beans are sorted by hand and then cleaned with the help of sieve. Once the beans are cleaned, they are dried under sun for about four weeks. During the process of drying, the beans are raked and turned to dry well. Once after they are dried completely, they are stored in a silo which are then carried to mill with the help of a vehicle.
Then the process of hulling takes place to grind the beans into a fine powder and they are graded to find if there is any bean not hulled properly. Once hulling is done, then they are stored in a bag. The coffee production ends with bagging and then the selling process takes place. After bagging, they are sent to coffee shops where the coffee powders are sold. Meanwhile, the roasting is done in coffee shops and are packed. Once they are packed, they are ready to be sold.
