In many countries today insufficient respect is shown to older people. What do you think maybe the reasons for this? What problems might this cause in society?

The respect to the aging population has changed as they become dependent on others for their physical and financial survival, and their mind is no longer suitable for today’s problems. However, this act might create inharmonic community
Admittedly, the fragile conditions of elder people might push them aside in modern life, and their old-fashioned thinking prevents them to make a contribution. This is because many people consider that taking care for their illnesses and necessity are not something younger people wanting to deal with, and they would rather allocate most time to show their superiority which is more rewarded. Furthermore, the development of technology and culture create difficulties for the elderly to be well-adapted meaning that they do not occupy positions of power as senior citizens that cause less appreciation they get. For example, a senior teacher aged over 50 attains less honor with headmaster as he tends to be slow respond and cannot run the computer to meet the curriculum need. In a similar way, the increasing of nursing home residents in western countries saw a common trend over a decade as their children have a good career so saving their parents might inhibit them in working activities. Therefore, this treatment will improve the risk of dementia and other chronic diseases, and starting from family groups, they should increase awareness to make sure elderly well-being.
What will happen for such behavior? The social life will experience unbalance conditions and it makes old ages as a disastrous period. When younger people do not show politeness while speaking to the age, it causes significant changes in tradition structure to other ways of life which consider dehumanizing. Also, it is likely that the rejection towards this age causes violence and offense in society. For example, the children who accustom yelling out to the grandparents are likely to be cruel and irritable which trigger conflict in society. As a result, not only does it emerges unsafely conditions but a social value which is invaluable from elder people be given to younger people. Therefore, if people want to create prosperity in their life, they should be tolerant of the limitations of elderly people may have.
In conclusion, with no criticism towards elderly conditions, younger people will be respectful and it will guarantee human civilization still having a sense of humanism lasting for centuries.
