The map illustrates that in 80 years the changes took place in the village of stokford .

Overall, The village faced a huge development from 1930 to 2010, Farmland all over the village decreased and most of them turned into the residential area.

The map depicted that, the bizarre land from 1930 of the north-eastern side changed to farmland in 2010 and some new residential houses exist now. Also, the western side of the village had shops which are replaced by the houses. The primary school beside the river hade one building only, in 2010 is modified into U-shaped two building Also beside the primary school, there were a few houses, which have more houses in 2010.

Furthermore, The retirement house has more houses in 2010 and less land for the garden. The immediate opposite side of the stoke river used to have farmlands, which is used as a residential area in 2010.
