It can be seen that the Meadownside Village has been merged with Fonton area. The most significant changes could be found in terms of both transportation and local facilities.
In more details, in 1962, there was only the road running from the west through this village, while there was railway road passing through Fonton. In 1985, this road has been converted to the main road and extended to connect the village with Fonton. The main road remains unchanged today, but the railway line has been extended to the west where the station has been built.
Regarding the local facilities, a housing estate has been erected to the west, along with a leisure complex and a super store in the south. Currently, along with the merging the Meadownside village and Fonton, a hotel has been constructed in the north of the station and in the south, opposite the station, lies a business park.
