The maps depict the modernization that taken place in an area adjacent to the beach in Australia in two distinctive time frames: 1950 and now.

Overall, the place has witnessed significant changes, the most prominent of which is the expansion of the road and the construction and refurbishment of some facilities near the beach. Nevertheless, the dining tables installed near the road and the aligned pavilion are those that stayed unchanged throughout the time period.

As per the maps, it is noticeable that the playground near the aforementioned dining area has been removed to make way for a new car. Another major change worth mentioning is the southward-bending road, which creates a direct route to the permanent lighthouse near the sea.

In addition, the beachfront area has been refurbished with a new restaurant and a smaller surf club in opposition to it. Moreover, there has been an enlargement of the pool near the dining property, which doubled the initial 25m measurement. To the side that is near the lighthouse, the 25m pool saw no salient changes whereas a new surf club has been erected next to the mentioned swimming facility.
