The maps provide information about Islip town centre which will be totally changed after a planned development.
Overall, it can be seen that Islip town center will be completely changed after a planned devoplepment and it will have various facilities.
Looking at the first map in more detail, it is evident that there is a road from west to east which is separately connected to school and park. Shops are in the north of the town along a part of the main road. Housing is behind the shops which are south to the main road.
Turning to the second map, it is evident that the town will be completely changed. Shops which are north to the main road will be demolished, after that, a bus station and a shopping centre will be built in this area. There will be a place which people can park their cars near the shopping centre. The shops south to the main road will be remain unchanged. New housing will be built east to the car park.There will be a road for only pedestrians between bus station, shopping centre, car park, new housing and the shops. The park which is located southeast of the town will be smaller. Also, there will be a roundabout which is connected to every type of place in the town instead of main road and it will have dual carriageway. Also there will be housing north to the school. In addition, school will be unchanged.
