The two maps give information about the development in the layout of the waterfront area in Darwin town from 2009 to 2014.
In general, it can be seen that the town changed from an industrial area to a residential and recreational place. The layout of the town had no change, while the transportation system was renovated.
The large industrial area replaced trees and footpaths called the green area. In the center of the town, three new residential buildings were erected, adjacent to three old ones. On the west of the map, the university building was demolished, and a lake was located in the circle remained. The swimming pool was relocated to the industrial area, while the convention school and school stayed unchanged.
In terms of access, there was a newly-constructed harbor on the seashore and a footpath to connect the harbor with the main road in the west of the town. In contrast, the footpath which encircles the center of the town was unchanged.
