Overall, most choices were made based on the quality of the target as well as the convenience or the suitability.
In 1987, suitable degree courses were the most popular reasons for choosing this university with 35% out of the total while quality of resources came in second place at 21%. Being least considered was the distance from home, just 10% of the reasons.
By the year 2007, it is obvious that the suitability of the study courses were still the prior consideration made up 37% of the choices. Surprisingly, the nearness of this university had surpassed others to stand in second place accounted for nearly 25%. The proportion of reasons related to entertainment quality had dropped significantly, only 6 out of 100 people made their decision for this reason in 2007.
