The pie chart below shows the proportion of different categories of families living in poverty in UK in 2002. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The give pie chart illustrates, the account for people in UK who were living in poverty in the year 2002.

Overall, sole parents was the majority of proportion who suffer poverty in household with 26%. However, single people suffer more than couple in poverty.

In particular, as far as children concern, couple with children was highest amount of poverty in compared to couple without children that is 15% and 9 % respectively. In addition, single no children categorized about 24% in poverty household type over the period given.

On the other hand, all households makes up 14% poverty rate in the year 2002. Moreover, in terms of aged people, single person represents slightly higher percentage which is 7 % ,while, aged couple comprises of only 5 %.
