The given pie chart illustrates the proportion of five different types of energy produced in France between the following years 1995 and 2005.
Overall, the most widely produced energy is coal and gas which account for more than half of all the production. While petrol, nuclear and other sources generated the least amount of energy. Also, the whole chart seems to only change slightly with not much rise or fall.
Starting with gas and coal, both seem to experience the least fluctuation in their trends, only rise around 1-2%, reaching nearly 30-31% of the total energy created. For petrol, it decreased from 29.27% to around 20% from 1995 to 2005 which is quite a significant downfall.
While the remaining methods of producing electricity like nuclear do not attain even a quarter of the whole charts. Their trends have risen greatly, for example, nuclear energy which went from about 6% to 10% of total production while other types of energy also gain more attention at a 4.20% increase.
