The two pie charts illustrate the proportion of four types of online shopping sales for retail sectors in New Zealand in 2003 and 2013. It can be seen that the sales of film or music and books in the country had increased over the ten years of the period while traveling and clothing categories were in reverse position.
In 2003, the online sales of travel business were leading by 36% of the total sectors in the country, which was 12% higher than the clothing business. However, over a decade, both figures had decreased sharply to 29% and 16% respectively.
The film or music field seems to have a drastically risen figure from 21% in 2003 to 33% in 2013. There is a slight increment in the sector of books too, it was in the last position in 2003 by 19% only, however within 10 years it was able to rise by 3% and appeared above the clothing sector in 2013.
In conclusion, it is clear that the online sales of film or music and books in New Zealand had increased, while the sales of travel and clothes had dropped.
