The pie charts illustrate the proportions of water consumption according to three distinct ais in six regions of the world.
Agricultural use has the most common way to consume water in every region, except for North America and Europe. In Europe and North America, industrial use has around half of the total while in the other regions, agricultural activities have spent water over than 70%.
Water usage of domestic works shows similar percentages in North America, South America and Europe with 13%, 19% and 15% respectively. However, in the other three countries, water is consumed by less than 10% for domestic works. Also, using water in industrial aims shares 10% and 12% in North America and South East Asia. Meanwhile, this field consumes water with 7% in Africa and with 5% in Central Asia.
To sum up, farming use covers the majority in four regions when the expenditure of industry has more proportions than agriculture in just two regions and domestic works show similar consumptions in almost every regions.
