The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today
The maps below illustrate the information about how different the public park established in 1920 and that of today. In general, there are several improvements in the Grange park after the development.
It could be easily observed from the first map that, fountain is located in the center of the map, with the large stage for musicians on the left, between the entrance at the top and bottom. The rose garden, seats were built surrounding the park. The northeastern corner used to space for a pond for water plants while the southeastern one was for a glasshouse.
In comparison with the grange park in 1920, in the development, the park is upgraded. First of all, the most striking change is in the center of the park, where the fountain has been removed in favor of a rose garden with full seating around it. To the left of the new garden, previous stage for musicians has been turned into a much larger amphitheater for concerts. This change has necessitated the removal of both seating on the far left side as well as the rose garden in the bottom left corner of the map. The entrances at the top and bottom remain the same, whereas the rose garden and pond for water plant on the right site were replaced by café and children’s play area. Finally, a water feature has been built occupying the bottom right corner (replacing a glasshouse and some seats), leading to the water park is a new entrance for an underground car park.
