The given diagram illustrates the site plan of Southwest airport before and after refurbishment.

Overall, The departure and arrival entrance remains the same, while the future airport will have more number of gates, compared to the present one. It will also include a new mode of transporation between the gates as well as some new features were added in the lobby before entering into the customs area.

In the present plan, there are 8 gates, in which gates 1 to 3 are connected by walkway. In the departure area there is a cafe near to the security passport control and directly opposite to it there is a check-in counter.

In the future plan, there are so many new shops and ammenities added such as new ATM, car hire and Cafe in the arrival part of the Southwest airport. While in the depature area there is change of location of the cafe and check-in, and bag drop will be newly added. One of the stricking feature of the new plan is, they will have 18 gates compared to 8 gates at present.
