The tables illustrate coffee and bananas sales in the UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium and Sweden in the years 1999 and 2004.

Overall, at the beginning of the period, coffee and bananas were the most sold product in Switzerland, while coffee and bananas contributed at least to the sales in Sweden and in Belgium, respectively. In comparison, at the end of the period, coffee was the most favourite product in the UK and bananas comprised the biggest part of sales in Switzerland.

The biggest rise in the market of the coffee was in the UK from 1.5 million euros in 1999 to 20 million euros in 2004. In Switzerland, the coffee sales increased twice per 5 years. The proportions of the sales of the coffee in the other countries were approximately the same in the years 1999 and 2004, such as: in the Denmark 1.8 and 2, in the Belgium 1 and 1.8 and in the Sweden 0.8 and 1, respectively.

bananas comprised the highest part of the market in Switzerland and rose more than three times from 1999 to 2004. In contrast to the coffee sales, the bananas market declined in the few countries. In Sweden, sales of bananas decreased from 1.8 to 1 million euros and in Denmark from 2 to 0.9 in the years 1999 and 2004 respectively.
