The table below gives information about the underground railway systems in six cities

The table illustrates the proportion of subway systems in six numerous cities (London, Paris, Tokyo, Washington DC, Kyoto and Los Angeles).

Looking from the overall perspective, it is crystal clear that the oldest station was initiated in the heart of the England, and on the other hand, Los Angeles station was the latest. It can be seen that majority of passengers used both Paris and Tokyo subways.

To begin with, London station was built in 1863 and around 775 million passengers used it per the year. However, the latest stations were embarked in Kyoto and Los Angeles and moreover, only 45 and 50 million people preferred to use it in a single year. The underground railway in Tokyo was the busiest around 1927 people used it. Furthermore, 1191 passengers tend to use Paris subway that opened in 1900. The subway system in Washington DC (1976) merely established prior to the subway in Kyoto and 144 million fond to use it per year.

London had the longest route around 394 km and on the contrary Kyoto and Los Angeles had the shortest route (11 km and 28 km). However, the length of the route of Paris and Tokyo were more than 150 km.
