Describe the information in the table and make comparisons where appropriate.

The table depicts how the Internet is utilized by people of different age tiers.

Overall, Internet users mostly go online to keep themself well-informed, therefore, the average of online news readers age-wise crossing the 70% mark. However, teenagers choose to play games more than the aforementioned activities as this form of entertainment doubled that of those in their 30s and nearly triplicated those in their 40s.

An equal number of teens and 30s go to the Internet to stay up-to-date, and the interest in getting hold of the latest news seems to decline as they get older, particularly from 30 to 50 years old. The trend is similar for downloading files off the Internet with teens account for the largest share - over 50%. Noticeably, no teenagers made product research online whereas this is particularly prevalent among people of older age, especially those in their 40s.

In addition, buying a product is generally popular among all internet users except for the youngsters, which the proportion is about 25% less than that of adults and the elderly. Last but not least, searching for people is the least-done activity online, with only 5% for teenagers and somewhere in the vicinity of 25% for people of 20-50 years old.
