The table below illustrates the proportion use of four different models of fuel to make electricity in five Asian countries in 2005.
To begin with, Japan had the highest percentage of using Nuclear for generating electricity ( 49%). In contrast, Singapore had only reached 13% of using Nuclear, while, Thailand did not use Nuclear for generating electricity. Malaysia and Singapore were the leader for Coal & Ignite which contain 61% and 42%, where the remaining countries only used 3 until 6 percent. Thailand leads the leaderboard for using Petroleum products which reached 36%, but, the remaining countries have similar proportion ( 2% and 3%). South Korea and Thailand steal the spotlight again after they consumed 48% and 19% Hydro & wind to generate electricity, except for 3 remaining countries that only used little amount of this kind of fuel. Finally, from the table we can see different trends of using other fuel, for example; Thailand who reached the highest numbers of usage (42%), Singapore and Japan had the same amount of proportion ( 39%). While Malaysia and South Korea being the lowest one because they only can get 13% and 11%
Overall, there were several trends in using different types of fuel to generate electricity in 2005
