The given table shows information about total population of world in 1950 and 2000 and an estimate in 2050 and distribution of it among various continents. Overall, it can be observed that the population keeps rising over the years and highest number of people reside in Asia in all three years.

As the population kept on increasing over the years, the distribution of people has changed a lot. To begin with, Africa accounted for 4% increase in 2000 from 1950 and is estimated to grow ever more in 2050 at around 20% of the world population. In contrast, the continent of Europe has seen a decline in trend over the years with only 7% to be estimated in 2050.

Asia was the most populated region and is estimated to remain the same in future 2050. It accounts for approximately 60% of world population in all the three years mentioned. North America, Latin America and Oceania contributed at around 1% to 9% hardly, wherein population of North America reducing over the years.

To conclude, Oceania was and remains the least crowded region and Asia tops the table by recording highest population in the world in all three years.
