The bar chart illustrates the daily production of oil in six Middle East countries from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, whereas the amount of oil in Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and UAE experienced an upward trend between 1990 and 2010 except in Qatar. It is also clear that Saudi Arabia was the biggest oil producer throughout the two decades.
Over 20 years, the largest oil producer was Saudi Arabia. It can be seen from the chart that the amount of oil had approximately doubled by 2010. Iran became the second with roundly 3 million barrels in 1990, then this figure rose consistently from 3 to 4 million barrels between 1990 and 2010.
The daily production of oil in Qatar was the smallest during the given period. This figure of this country grew negligibly to a million barrel before remaining constantly about a half of million barrel until 2010. Whereas UEA entered period stability from 1990 to 2000 and rose slightly by 0.5 million barrels during the last five years.
