The given pie charts compares the annual spending of a school in London on different running cost in three separate year; 1981, 1991 and 2001.
Over this span of 20 years, Teacher’s salaries holds the highest expenditure among the all mention categories whereas insurance shows the progressive annual expense over the period.
As a matter of fact, Teacher’s salaries showed an upward trend; starting form 40% annual expenditure in 1981 and reached up to a 45% at the end of the period, despite there was a slight increased on these annual expenses in 1991. Similarly, annual expense of Other worker’s salary start from 28% in its initial period and there was a gradual decline on these trend and stabilized at 15% at the end of the period. Moreover, Resources (e.g; books) showed and overall fluctuation regarding annual spending, rising from 15% of average annual spending in 1981, this trend of annual spending rose gradually at 20% by 1991 and after having a dramatic fall it was then stabilized at 9% in 2001 whilst annual spending on Furniture and equipment showed and increasing pattern; with 15% of annual expenditure in 1981 and reached up to 23% of average expenditure in 2001, though there was a sudden fall was noticed in 1991 in the question.
Lastly, insurance was the most progressive expense in London, starting from 2% of its initial expense there was a gradual increase on these trend and reached up to 8% at the end of the period in question.
