The two maps below show an island before and after the construction of some tourist facilities. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The two map demonstrate a coastal island before and after it is developed for tourism. As we can clearly see in the first map that the island could be considered almost empty without any building and facilities and it was approximately 250-300 meters, had long palm trees over, is surrounded by blue ocean and had a small beach in West side of the island.

Over the period, the island had been completely transformed into a different place with a huge hotel and dock, however, it is a clear point that eastern part of the island seems to have been left undeveloped.
On the other hand , when we look at the second map, the improvements are be seen all over the island. The most additions are the hotel rooms 6 buildings, surrounding some trees, have been built in the west of the island and 9 buildings have been constructed in the center of the island. Between the two accommodation areas, a reception building and a restaurant has been developed.

A pier has also been built on the south coast of the island, allowing yachts access to the resort. Apart from the trees, the beach remains the only natural feature to remain relatively untouched; however it does appear that it is now used for swimming.
