The diagrams depict an island before and after it was developed into a tourism centre.
Overall, the island, prior to the construction of facilities, was mostly empty; but for two groups of palm trees towards the East and west sides.
However, the other map shows significant additions to make the island hospitable to the tourists.
The island in it's natural state was a vast expanse of land surrounded by water and a beach at the west end.
Specifically, new buildings we're erected in the new island. The first noticeable one, as one approach from the south, is the pier linking visitors from their yatchs to the island. Furthermore, lodges were built to house the people on holiday; six towards the west and nine almost to the center of the resort.
Directly in the middle of the centre are the restaurant and reception; both newly put up. Lastly, the beach can now be used by tourists for swimming.
