The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities.Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

A glance at the provided maps illustrate the changes of an island from a deserted place to a modern tourist destination.

This is such a clear-cut evidence from the above maps that the island becomes more attractive and gorgeous. Besides, constructors take advantages of not only the island, but also surrounding seawater to build several tourist comforts.

Coming to the first map which shows the island before being constructed, it cannot be denied that the island looks inhabited with only land, natural beach, and coconut-trees. These trees grow most on the east side of the island and some on west side. Sea covers all the north, east, and south. There is a beach existing to the west of the island.

Nevertheless, after the construction of the tourist conveniences, the island has changed significantly. It can be seen clearly that the second map has three main areas. First, the beach is desinged and equipped to be suitable and safe for swimming purpose. Second, the southern sea that has nothing before is used to make pier. This innovation allows people to take some outdoor activities with sailboats. Visitors can walk from the beach or use vehicle track to come to the island that is the final area. As can be seen, a reception is built at the central island. To the north of the reception, a restaurant is constructed to serve tourists. The unique thing is that all of the coconut-trees are still remained. A large number of accommodations surround the trees that is on the left hand and appear in oval shape next to the others coconut-trees.
