The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourist facilities.
The maps represent an island made some improvement by constructing tourist’s attractions.
Overall, the island is approximately 250 metres long, has few palm trees dotted around it, is surrounded by ocean and has a beach area to the west. Over the period, the island was completely transformed into tourist’s areas with pier and accommodations around.
Before the construction, the island was completely empty. There was nothing but natural environments of twelve palm trees and the natural beach areas on the west of the island.
After the construction, the accommodations have built at the centre of island with the restaurants and receptions in the middle of those accommodations. The restaurants and receptions are now accessible by vehicle tracks while accommodations can be accessed by footpaths. Meanwhile, the island had built pier on the south of island allowing yachts access to the resort. Apart from the trees, the beach remains the only natural feature to remain relatively untouched; however it does appear that it is now used for swimming.
