Essay topics:

The two maps below show road access to a city hospital in 2007 and in 2010.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The maps depict changes that took place in the road access to a city hospital between 2007 and 2010
Overall, a comparison between the two maps reveals a shift in the surroundings from a simple area to a well-organized zone.
Looking at the maps, it is noticeable that all the infrastructures in the area were innovated with complicated designs. Along two sides of Hospital Rd, the bus stations were removed to make way for a widened bus station and the exclusive staff car park, which previously shared the place with 3 bus stations. Along the Hospital Rd, two intersections with City Road and Ring Road were converted, with two new roundabouts being erected. In addition, two pathways were constructed from the roundabouts, heading to a new bus station located to the west of Hospital Rd. The former car park in 2007 was doubled, with the development of a separate public car park adjacent to Ring Road and to the east of the city hospital.
