The two pie charts below compare the percentage wise contribution in Turkish economy by various sector's in 2000 and 2016.

At 24% we can see that agriculture accounted for majority of the contribution to GDP of Turkey in 2000, but this percentage had dropped to 14% by 2016. During the same sixteen year period construction sector rapidly grow and it's share in economy went from just 3% to 10%. However, similar tradition followed by manufacturing sector. By 2016, in economy 12% contribution given by manufacturing sector. Throughout the years 2000 to 2016 trade, utilities and transport contribution increased 2 %, which was 16% in 2016.

Interestingly, both health/education sector and leisure/hospitality sectors contribute same percentage to economy in 2000. While contribution of health/education sector remained 17% in 2016, leisure/hospitality contribution fall by 3%. Through out the years 2000-2016 contribution of government in GDP went from 12% to 9%. Whereas opposite trend in the case of finanace, business and other sectors. In 2000 finance, business and other sectors contribution is 5%, by 2016 contribution increased to 8%.
