Because of your job, you have to move to a new city. Write a letter to someone you know who lives there. In your letter

ask them to help you find somewhere to live

tell them the kind of accommodation you want to find

tell them which area of the city you want to live in

Dear Vishal,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to ask for your help I need to settle down in Toronto next month. Actually, I recently accepted a job offer from one of the multinational establishments in your city, named the SunLife Financials. It's really hard to find a rented accommodation in a cosmopolitan city like Toronto. But, it would be more easy and quick to find a place to live if you could guide me to search for a place to live near your residence.

I am not looking for a mansion rather I would prefer a spacious house with all the basic amenities, such as water supply, electricity supply, and well connected transportation. As I have lived in India with local society, I will be happy to have similar kind of society there too. Additionally, I would like to have loft in the house with staircase.

I am mainly interested in a high-rise apartment with a working lift and proper security. Also, I would prefer to live in the inner-city area where we could find some urban lifestyle. I know that most of the times, there is a huge traffic congestion, but I am not much worried about it. I would also prefer to live in a skyscraper with modern infrastructure with some cultural events.

I am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.

Best wishes,

Matt Henry
