A friend has agreed to look after your house and pet while you are on holiday.

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter

• give contact details for when you are away

• give instructions about how to care for your pet

• describe other household duties

Hi John,

I hope this letter finds you in healthy spirits. I am very thankful for the favor you agreed to offer to take care of my house and dog Bruno during my one-week vacation trip. I am writing this to inform you about some important chores you have to manage these days.

Firstly, every morning two packets of milk are being delivered, you have to pick them on time to avoid its contamination. Secondly, as the weather is getting extremely hot I request you to water the plants on a daily basis. Finally, cornflakes are kept at the kitchen shelf you have to feed them to my pet twice a day. Additionally, fill its bowl of water regularly as it consumes plenty of water throughout the day.

As I am going overseas, my current mobile number will not be reachable but you can contact me through an internet call, though I will share my number as soon as possible. If I might not be available feel free to call my father. Also, considering your taste, I have put fresh multi-grain bread in the refrigerator you can consume it any time. Moreover, I will also bring your favorite dark Australian chocolate as a token of thanks.

Again thank you for the support.

Yours lovingly,

Prabh
