A friend who lives in another country has invited you to come and stay with him/her on your next holiday. You are too busy to accept the invitation. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:

Thank him/her for the invitation.

Explain why you cannot come

Ask him about other times to visit.

Dear Smith,

I hope this letter finds you in happy and high spirits. I always cherish the moments we had spent together during my last visit to Canda. I felt very special when I received your invitation for your 25th wedding anniversary celebration going to be held on 2nd of next month. I am sorry to say that but I will not be able to attend it due to my office work priorities.

As you already know, I changed my job last month. In this organisation, agile is used, so management decided that employees will be engaged in Progress Increment (PI) during the next holidays so that all the dependencies will be identified at very early stage. Hence, during the next holidays, I need to report office on daily basis like my normal routine.

Owing to this, company will provide compensation holiday during december. I will definately plan to visit your place that time. Also, please share some of the pictures of that celebration I will be happy to see that.

Yours sincerely,

Jobanpreet
