IELTS writing sample: The school library is seeking applicants for a job over summer break. Write a letter to the library’s manager, in your letter include:
– A brief introduction of yourself
– Your experience and relevant skills
– Why you want the job

My name is Saleem and I am 3rd year student at ABC University. I recently saw a job post on notice board related to the the job in library hence writing you to express my interest in the same.

While I was completing my 1st year at University, I had a chance to work in the local library for few weeks. During my tenure, I assisted the Chief librarian in maintaining database of the students and the books they had issued. In order to accomplish the other task in library, I also created a software with the help of IT which is still being used.

Considering my recent experience and financial conditions, it would be great if I can get this job as this will not only help me in future career but also enable me to settle my education loans.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully
Saleem
