Last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed with some friends. They have just sent you some photos of your holiday.

Write a letter to your friend. In your letter

• thank them for the photos and for the holiday
• explain why you didn’t write earlier
• invite them to come and stay with you.

Dear Annie,

I'm writing to thank you for sending the photographs that we clicked during our vacation in Australia.

I am delighted that you arranged this trip. I was very bored of my monotonous work routine and these 10 days were extremely refreshing. I really admire the time we all spent together by looking at these photos, thanks for forwarding it.

I was not able to respond earlier due to some urgent work assignment in my office. The client wanted us to deliver the software within seven days and it kept me occupied in past whole week. Finally, the product is sent to the customer and I got some free time for myself.

I believe we should often go on such holidays, hence, I would like to invite you all to my place in coming month. I really want to have a get together with you all. Do let me know the feasible dates, so that I can do the required arrangements.

Looking forward to hearing from you all.

With Love,
Ajay Kumar
