last month you had a holiday overseas where you stayed with some friends. They have just sent you some photos of your holiday. Write a letter to your friends. In your letter
1) thank them for the photos and for the holiday.
2) explain why you didn't write earlier.
3) invite them to come and stay with you.

Dear Ram,

I am doing great and hope you are sailing in the same boat. Last week, I received your mail containing the photographs of our vacation, so, I am writing to express my extreme pleasure for organising the awesome trip and the photos.

I was planning to write you from the moment I reached home but unfortunately, my sister met with an accident and I had to take her to hospital as, all of our family members have went to visit my grandmother. Only yesterday, she got discharged from the hospital and finally, I got free and I decided to write.

I am really thankful for the wonderful hospitality and experience. I got to know from one of our friend that you are coming to my town next weekend, so, I want you to come visit me and if you have not booked any place to stay, then, it would be really great if you stay with me at my place.

I am hoping for the positive response from your side.

Best Regards,
Rupali Mahajan
