In many countries it is now illegal to smoke in public places. It is only fair that people who wish to smoke should have to leave the building.
Do you agree or disagree?
Several countries banned smoking in common places, however people who like to smoke can use the smoking zone area. I completely agree with this statement. Firstly, this essay will discuss about the importance of banning smoke in public places. Secondly, this essay will discuss why people should use private places to smoke?
Smokers knew smoking is injurious to health, even in India it is mandated to use this tag in all the cigarette covers and boxers still sales rate is unstoppable. Though government increased the tax rate for all tobacco products however cigars are one of the major revenue generation in today’s market. One of the least steps taken by the government to control smoking habit by prohibiting in public places. To prove that, Anna University had done many surveys on smoking and the results show that 80% people suffering from cancer due to usage of tobacco substances, also young persons from school and colleges are more addicted in last decade.
Globally, it is accepted that tobacco is not good to health. Nonsmokers are affected more than regular smokers because of inhaling the smoke by others. For instance, my neighbor who is an active smoker, his kid suffered from cough and other medical issues because of inhalation. By using the separate places for smoking, common people will not suffer from smoke also children will not inspire to follow their elders’ bad habits. Recently local NGO released documentary film on effects of smoking and essential of using smoking zone which brought a big difference among tobacco users, this video should be promoted internationally for larger audience.
To conclude, most of the countries have taken step to stop smoking in public places is a welcoming decision which will bring goodness. Also, it is individual responsibility to smoke in the right area without interrupting the public.
