Dear Mr. Pederson,

I am writing this letter to apologise for the absence of recent meeting. I am fully aware that the meeting agenda, reformation of organization structure, is important for company development.

In the early morning of the meeting day, I slipped and fell down in the bathroom of my house and my head hit with the corner bathtub. I was feeling pain after the accident and at the same time, I cannot stop bleeding from the wound. Therefore I called ambulance and received the appropriate treatments. Even though the bleeding stopped, specialist suggested to stay in hospital for a day to recover from dizziness.

I am really disappointed myself for not being able to attend the meeting. I will check and review with Linda on the meeting minutes and will follow up the necessary actions as soon as possible. I promise that my absence will not affect the organizational protocol and targets.

I would like to say sorry for all the inconvenient causes and hope you can forgive me.

Yours Sincerely,
Mr. Aye
