I am kusahl rana, a resident of B.P extention, writing on behalf of our community members to express our discontent with the sanitation facilities.
First of all, we really appreciate the effort and hard work done by the staff of local council to manage the garbage from our locality. But in the past few days we have seen a huge deterioration in the cleanliness drive, resulting into overflow of trace bins. In addition to it, the flow of lanes has stopped as they are filled with rubbish and no one there to look after this issue.
Moreover, overflowing containers has become a breeding grounds for mosquitoes, houseflies and other insects. there is strong possibility of seasonal disease. So far, more than ten cases of dengue has been reported.
As a viable solution, please make sure your staff clean the garbage bins every single day both in morning and evening. i would also request you to provide bins with different colours for the segregation of waste.
I hope you will consider my suggestions and take immediate action to solve the problems.
