I got recruited as Asset Manager in you company and dues to initiate my duties effective 1st August 2019. At first, I would like to thank you for extending opportunity to me to work with your esteemed and renowned group. I am writing this letter to explain my current obligation, which required me to postpone my joining day by 2 week and begin my duties with your company by 15th August 2019.
Firstly, being Assistant finance manager, my current role is full of responsibilities and demand knowledge of historical background of underlying transactions in order to finalize the standalone and consolidation audit effectively. I have put colossal efforts in audit assignment and managed to finalize the audit for last 6 years all together. We are on the verge of finalization of audit in any given day. Due to some unavoidable circumstances on auditor’s part, eventually, audit got shifted by three week.
Considering my separation from company and active involved by management, my line manager managed to cut-short the timelines by 1 weeks on auditor’s part. As a last resort, my company has requested me to extend my service by 2 week to have healthy and mutually beneficial separation, which seems reasonable and demand moral consideration on my part. Considering the unavoidable circumstances, I request you to kindly revise my joining date to 15th August 2019.
