Dear Barrymore,
I am writing to request you additional time for the payment of current month's rent. Recently I met with an accident when coming back from home and fractured my finger. More specifically, when I was returning from office my bike skid off the road as I was trying to avoid a pothole.
Let me explain in more detail. As I have injured myself and not in a position to work. I could not finish of my typing assignment which is due for delivering this week. As per the agreement if the assigned work is not handed over in time, the contract will be cancelled. Due to this I am afraid I would not be in a positon to pay rent in time for this month.
Could I ask if it is possible for you to provide a week’s time for the payment of rent? I have a fixed deposit maturing next week after which I can clear the dues.
