Dear Mr James,
I am a student of the one-month french intensive training programme and I am writing to express my interest in the role of Social event organizer that our head of the course is looking for someone to take up and to request further information about it.
Let me first explain to you about my previous experience in this kind of role. During my higher studies in my home country, I used to participate in event organizing activities, fundraising campaigns and several other social works for my university. In addition to that, ever since I have moved to the UK, I have been continuously participating in voluntary activities that are being offered by regional charitable organizations.
Furthermore, I believe this role will definitely offer me a great chance to interact with the management and it will also help me to network with several of the students from other departments. All the above reasons motivated me to apply for this position.
I believe that some of the key details about the role such as the type of work that one has to undertake; duration of the responsibility; the team; etc., have not been shared yet. It would be of great help if you could also share those information.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Your's faithfully,
Akilan Palaniappan
