You are planning to go on a holiday in another country. Write a letter to your friend asking him/her to join. Include following in your letter.•Why you need a holiday.•Your holiday plans.•Why you need your friend to join with you.

Dear Sara,

It has been a long time since we have been in touch. I am guilty of not being able to write to you for so long.
I was recently promoted as a manager and the work has been keeping me busy. To be honest, I am finding the work quite stressful.

This morning, I saw and advertisement in the news paper that read about a holiday package for two to Goa. The package offers an irresistible discount of seventy percent off on airline tickets. I know that you are doing some research about the influence of colonization in Goa for your thesis. I was wondering if you might be interested in joining for a holiday to Goa?

There is a visit to a typical Goan village and a home stay, where you can enjoy some Goan fish curries.
Also, there is a a guided tour to some historical churches. Apparently, the guide is an architect and has made extensive study about the influence of Portuguese architecture in the churches.

I think this would be a great get away for both of us to spend some quality time at the beaches, soak in the sun, and do some fishing as well. I am really looking forward to this holiday. Cannot wait to catch up!!!

Love,
Rajie
