Dear Tom,
I am writing this letter to request you to allow me to take some time off from the work.
As you are aware that I have been continuously working without break for last two months and got exhausted. Moreover my nephew wedding is planned in next week. Therefore, I am planning to take few weeks off from work. I believe that during holidays, I will get chance to take some rest and of course meet all my family members in wedding which will certainly help me to rejuvenate myself.
I will take two weeks off starting from 15th Aug’18 to 30th Aug’18 and during these period office will open only on 6 days because extended weekends falling in between these dates.
In order to cover my roles and responsibilities, I have already made agree Mrs Lorna who closely work with me and have full idea about my work activities. I shall be available on phone in case of any assistance.
I request you to grant me a leave for above mentioned period.
