I am writing to check for potential transfer to Company's head office for duration of 6 months.
As you are aware, we have been working from Chicago office for past 3 years. As our office is growing, I couldn't get a chance to travel and meet our colleagues back in its in headquarters in UK. We are starting a new project next month and
all the technical team sits in UK. It would be great if I get a chance to travel to UK and work for 6 months so that we can kick start the initial part of the project.
As Client is from Ireland, it would be great if I get a chance to meet them in person and build a rapport with the client.
While I am away, I will be working on the current project and deliverable wont be affected at anytime as current project will be my first priority. I would like to check with you whether you are good with this approach and if yes, I can talk to the HR team to initiate the process. As this will be official trip, I would need your approval to book for travel arrangements.
